Cree standardization does not fit the format English, French, and other languages use.

I argue that standardization of Cree, Oji-Cree and Ojibwe with their many dialects will not work.

Native languages are descriptive languages. Very different from defination. Defining meaning is different from describing.

It won't work. many old cree words are not no longer use. new one are employed.

we were a non written lanuage people standizing mean we have to create a cree dictionary.

You need to gather speakers who can also read and write these materials. Think tank group.

Stella Koostachin:

Template is like trying to fit in a round peg to a square one. That is how I see standardization.

History: Elders trained children they selected for various areas as in languages, hunting, fishing, trapping, leadership, etc.

Stella Koostachin:

Mentorship is also important. This does not seem to be applied today. What do you think?
